VISTA Project Goal

Create a social media/marketing campaign, represent Habitat at community concerts & farmers markets, and conduct consumer research. Help Habitat open a ReStore that will raise funds to build homes!

Project Objectives

As the ReStore Startup VISTA you will help Habitat Kenosha prepare to open a resale store that will provide a sustainable source of funds for building and repairing homes. Activities include:

1. Working with the Marketing and ReStore Committees to develop a marketing and social media plan.

2. Develop and conduct a survey of potential donors and shoppers.

3. Represent Habitat and the ReStore at community events such as the farmers market and community concerts.

4. Revise the ReStore business plan and develop standard operating procedures. Position is 30 hours/week. Housing assistance is available. This is a great opportunity to develop business/marketing skills in a professional setting and meet internship requirements
