This training is for staff members who need to renew their annual QLO Training certificate. U.S. federal law requires loan originators to meet certain qualification standards, including ongoing training, and Habitat policy extends the requirements to volunteers performing loan originator activities in connection with the homeowner assessment and loan assessment phases of the Habitat application. Even if the actual loan is originated by a third party lender, a qualified loan originator is required to perform the loan originator activities during the homeowner assessment phase.
